Ministries at WRBC

Deacons. This ministry loves people by responding to ministry needs within the congregation, administering benevolence funds, supporting pastoral staff, assisting with conflict resolution, and welcoming visitors, and exploring future directions for the church's life and work. The ministry seeks to exalt Jesus Christ by assisting in the observance of ordinances and participation in and leading worship.

Church Council. This ministry facilitates the ministry of all other church ministries in their work. In particular, Council seeks to glorify God through stewardship of the resources God has given us. This ministry is responsible for church finances, facilities, and personnel.

Adult Discipleship. All components of this ministry (women's ministry, men's ministry,
small (L.I.F.E.) groups, Sunday School) perform Bible-specific studies, helping to educate disciples. These components provide a small group atmosphere for connections and prayer.

Children's Ministry. Children are led to Christ and grow in faith through Bible
based teaching at Children's Time, Children's Church, Sunday School, MOTR, and VBS. Parents are drawn to the church and encouraged to be involved.

Youth Ministry. Children are led to Christ and grow in faith through Bible
based teaching at youth group on Sunday evenings and through special events throughout the year. Parents are encouraged to be involved.

Family and Fellowship. This ministry seeks to foster a welcoming family atmosphere that makes visitors, potential new members, and current members comfortable. This ministry coordinates church meals, receptions, and food for special needs.

Missions. The stated goal is to "promote local and global missions and missions education within WRBC". The missions team seeks to do the by promoting mission opportunities within the church, educating the congregation about local and global missions, ensuring the church meets its obligations as a sending church for its long term missionaries, and supporting local missions.
