Terry Adams – Put his name in because he felt called to serve more. Brings experience of pastoral transition and knowledge of some things that haven’t worked.
Heidi Bjorklund – Sees value in gathering data about our congregation as is, specifically revisiting some recently gathered information. Hopes to accurately represent the senior portion of the congregation and bring focus and productivity to the group.
Steve Boerigter – Hopes to represent the not quite senior crowd. Wants to be sure that everyone is heard.
Kaidin Liming – Wants to represent the youth. Hopes to maintain the feeling of inclusivity as a church throughout this transition.
April Nolen – Brings experience from a previous search committee in this church and also from many transitions of leadership within community bible study. Has direct involvement in a broad spectrum of WRBC functions. Hopes to undergird this committee with a strong prayer base.
Kim Sherwood – Hopes to represent the quiet voices. Wants to accurately represent single people in the church body. Brings good organizational skills to the committee.
Derek Stafford – Deacon rep. here to listen. Hopes to help plant our vision for the future of WRBC. Don’t look for a new Pastor Chuck. Hopes to grow through this process.
Steve Nolen – Deacon rep. Has been through pastoral change processes. Hopes to bring perspective to the committee. Wants to help represent congregants that may not speak out on their own. Emphasis on church pulse, “who are we?”
Katrina Koehler – Council rep. Well involved in WRBC and hopes to bring perspective from those varied groups. Organizational and analytical, ready for change and hoping to facilitate it.
Pat Yeamans – Council rep. Here to help provide perspective on things that don’t work, hopes to help avoid pitfalls. Happy to embrace change in our path forward.
Steve Lloyd – Understands that the church at large needs to be ready for change. Has been through organizational changes. (not on the committee, does this need to be in the minutes?)
Jesse Mark – Youth Pastor. Here to listen and be a resource, and ok with being told to “bug off” in this conversation. Understands that current pastors may not be wanted in every discussion about a new pastor.
Chuck McCullough – “This committee is yours.” The pastors are here for perspective.
