Youth group aged kids do not have to be a part of our church to attend youth group and meetings. In fact, we encourage our own youth to bring friends who may not attend church at all. Our goal is to have these kids to come out, have fun, learn more about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and occasionally get hit by a gumdrop or finger dart!
In addition to weekly meetings, the Youth participate in many community projects throughout the year. Project 412 is a local project, the youth built some outdoor benches for the grove and cleaned up the Meditation path. 30-hour Famine is a time to explore what hunger feels like in darker parts of the world, while deepening the discussion on what it feels like to truly sacrifice something. And sometimes they just create some great videos like the one below!
