What are we doing?
Our mailing address is:

…let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
We are long-term cross-cultural missionaries with SIM. We are currently in Galmi, Niger, which is the first ministry locale to which SIM has assigned us. We may be at Galmi for 20 years, or we may be reassigned elsewhere at some point in time … that will all depend on what God has in store and how He leads. For the time-being, we assume that we will be at Galmi long-term.
Sean’s professional specialties are IT, Project Management, and Management. He is the “IT Guy” for the Galmi hospital and associated housing, and is also responsible for bigger picture implementations and methods of serving people in the developing world. Carrie’s professional specialties are Midwifery and Public Health. She will be working with the midwives in the hospital and in the villages and hopes to implement large scale public health programs in the long-term.
We are so thankful that God has given us the opportunity to serve His people in one of the most difficult places in the world. It is our prayer that through our service and by living our lives with the people of Niger AND with those who are praying for us and financially supporting us AND by freely sharing the good news of Jesus Christ that we are able to point others to the glory of God.
We hope that you will pray about coming alongside our family on this journey of service and sharing the gospel. Use the links on this website to join our email/prayer team or to join the financial support team.
Why would I start supporting you as missionaries now instead of when you leave for the field? Can’t I just start giving once you get there? That sounds sensible, but it will actually significantly delay our getting to the field and impacts whether or not even get there at all. We cannot deploy until SIM can verify that we have all of our support commitments. We cannot count someone as a supporter of this ministry until funds transmit through SIM’s system.
ANY support received between now and when we go to the field goes into our “Get Us There” account and we do not have access until both the Get Us There and the Keep Us There support commitments are at 100%.
